Metropolitan Philip Scholarship Fund

Years of war and instability have taken a toll on Lebanon, but its people have remained committed to giving their children the best opportunities for a high quality education, and a chance at a better life.

This fund was established in honor of his eminence, Metropolitan Philip, Primate of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.

Funds raised towards the Metropolitan Philip Scholarship Fund are earmarked for scholarships to deserving and in-need students.

Currently, more than 30% of students benefit from a tuition scholarship or another form of financial aid.

Since 2008, thanks to the generosity and vision of our friends and donors, we have been able to support 35 students from start to finish, to SUCCESSFULLY complete their education.

And this is only the beginning.

The Scholarship Fund ensures that students who have the desire and potential to pursue higher education will not be prevented from doing so for lack of financial means.  Few acts are more rewarding than putting young and less privileged students on the track towards a successful career and giving them an opportunity to be the best they can be in their communities.
